Quick Start Guide To All Things Mozy
If you’ve just got your hands on a Mozy and can’t wait to start using it, we’ve got you covered! Whether you're gearing up for an outdoor event or looking for extra warmth on a chilly evening, knowing how to wear, adjust, and care for your Mozy is key to maximizing its benefits. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the top 5 things you need to know to fully enjoy your Mozy experience— Let’s dive in!
1. How To Wear Mozy
First things first… how to wear it!
Take Mozy out of its packaging and then pull apart the hook & loop material (Velcro-like) to fully open the Mozy, revealing the interior fleece.
Step 1: Start with Mozy behind you, fleece facing inward
Step 2: Wrap the left side of Mozy around you with your left arm
Step 3: Adjust the hook & loop (Velcro-style) closure to meet your needs. See #2 below...
Step 4: Enjoy the superior warmth and hands-free mobility!
2. How To Adjust Mozy
Mozy is “infinitely” adjustable because you can secure Mozy closed anywhere along the Velcro-like panel from top to bottom.
- Wear it closed at the waist but otherwise open for the coolest setting
- Wear it closed at the knee level for a warmer setting
- For the warmest setting, close Mozy all the way to the ankles, wearing it snug around the entire body.
...Or at any point in between to suit the current conditions and your comfort level!

Walking In Mozy

- Waist-Only Closure (Casual Walking Mode)
• Simply close Mozy at your waist and leave it open at the knees and ankles.
• This lets you walk comfortably from your car to the game or venue, keeping your hands free and your lower body warm.
• It’s perfect for short walks and quick trips—no need to carry your Mozy or fuss with it.
When you sit again, you can adjust Mozy to a warmer setting by closing it more toward or at the very bottom.
- Walking Mode (Tucked-Up / Instructional Mode)
• For even more room around your feet, use Mozy’s Walking Mode.
• Just tack the bottom of the wrap up by attaching the lower Velcro strip at the pocket.
• This setup is great for longer walks or when you want extra security and freedom of movement.

3. How To Remove & Add Patches
The exterior material of the 2 large pockets on Mozy can accept Velcro patches!
So you can personalize or customize your Mozy to match your personality or show your team spirit.
Mozy comes with a FREE Mozy brand patch! But you can remove it if you’d like. Just pull it right off. If it’s crooked, just remove it, straighten it, and re-apply it.

- Don’t forget to add to your cart “Apply Velcro Backing” if you want them to apply the Velcro for you to the patch so you don’t have to do it. It’s just $5 extra.
4. How To Fold Mozy
We created Mozy so that you could fold it up quickly and securely. Then transport it by the wrist strap so you don’t need an extra bag or have to carry Mozy in your hands.
Unfortunately, Mozy doesn’t fold into its own pocket. We tried that with one of our design iterations but trust us… it was not pretty. Our durable and weatherproof materials don’t lend itself to this kind of “stuffing” ;)

5. How To Care For Mozy
When Mozy gets dirty, just wipe it off with a damp cloth.
When Mozy gets really dirty, no need to hand-wash or dry clean…
Mozy is machine washable ❤️
Between adventures, toss Mozy in the washer on a gentle, cold cycle and then tumble dry low separately or line dry.
Don't iron or bleach.
